Workshop Overview
This entry-level workshop is ideal for anyone curious about tufting. In just three hours, you'll design and create a set of four unique coasters — matching or completely different, it's up to you! You'll learn how to operate a tufting machine, work with yarn on fabric, and finish your pieces using a simple adhesive method that lets you take your coasters home the same day.
Shapes can be circles, squares, or anything in between — just keep in mind that smaller tufted pieces require simpler designs. This workshop is open to ages 12 and up and is the perfect way to dip your toes into fiber arts with no pressure and lots of fun.
If you don't finish during the workshop, you're welcome to return within a week during studio hours to complete your set.

Design Tips
To ensure your project turns out exactly as you envision, please submit your design at least 3 days before your workshop. This gives us time to prepare your materials and ensure everything is ready for your creative day.
- Stick to 2–4 colors
- Use bold, simple shapes
- Avoid small text, shadows, or complex lines
- Think: abstract patterns, cartoon-style art, or clean minimalist icons
